Abstract(s)
Em função dos avanços conquistados a nível de inclusão socioeducacional, buscamos compreender melhores estratégias para o desenvolvimento de pessoas com deficiência intelectual e do desenvolvimento (DID). Objetivo: Identificar qual o impacto neuropsicomotor que uma intervenção de capoeira promove em pessoas com DID. Métodos: estudo de caso, com uma abordagem qualitativa de cunho exploratório. O local do estudo foi a Associação Pestalozzi de Fortaleza, Ceará – Brasil. Participaram 10 alunos com DID. Foi aplicado uma entrevista semiestruturada com os pais, professores e profissionais que acompanharam os participantes da pesquisa. As entrevistas foram analisadas pela análise de conteúdo de Bardin (2015) e seguiram as seguintes categorias: motricidade, aspectos psicológicos, aspectos sociais e aprendizagens escolares. Os impactos foram observados nos aspectos sociais, psicológicos e psicomotores de acordo com os pais, professores e profissionais entrevistados. Conclusão: Concluímos que um programa de intervenção com capoeira para pessoas com DID promove mudanças positivas nos aspectos neuropsicomotores.
Due to the advances made in terms of socio-educational inclusion, we seek to understand better strategies for the development of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Objective: To identify the neuropsychomotor impact that a capoeira intervention promotes in people with intellectual and developmental disability (IDD). Methods: case study, with an exploratory qualitative approach. The study site was the Pestalozzi Association in Fortaleza, Ceará – Brazil. 10 students with IDD. The interviews were analyzed using Bardin's (2015) content analysis and followed the following categories: motricity, psychological aspects, social aspects, and school learning. The impacts were observed in the social, psychological, and psychomotor aspects according to the parents, teachers and professionals interviewed. Conclusion: We conclude that an intervention program with capoeira for people with IDD promotes positive changes in neuropsychomotor aspects.
