As Comissões de Proteção de Crianças e Jovens (CPCJ) são instituições não judiciárias que visam promover os direitos das crianças e jovens e prevenir ou pôr termo a situações de perigo, aquelas suscetíveis de afetar a segurança, saúde, formação, educação e desenvolvimento integral dos mesmos. O presente documento reflete o trabalho que foi realizado num estágio do Mestrado de Intervenção Psicossocial com Crianças e Jovens em Risco numa CPCJ do Norte do País. Compõe-se de três partes: um enquadramento teórico que serve de sustento a toda a intervenção realizada, uma caracterização multidimensional do contexto do estágio e uma descrição extensiva da prática realizada. Na sequência do levantamento de necessidades de intervenção foram definidas três Medidas: Intervenção psicossocial numa CPCJ, Promoção do Conhecimento sobre os Direitos das Crianças e Sensibilização das entidades da Rede Social para a Promoção e Proteção das Crianças e Jovens em Perigo. No que diz respeito à primeira Medida, concretizou-se na cogestão de 9 processos de promoção e na participação de outras atividades da CPCJ como a apresentação de um Póster Científico nas Jornadas de Prevenção da Violência na Infância e Juventude; na segunda Medida foram realizadas 10 sessões, abrangendo um total de 203 participantes, com idades entre os 8 e os 12 anos; na terceira medida foram implementadas 6 sessões, contando com um total de 246 participantes. Através da análise dos indicadores definidos para a avaliação, verificaram-se evidências que permitem concluir que, de um modo geral, o trabalho realizado contribuiu para a prossecução dos objetivos definidos. Em todos os momentos procura-se oferecer uma descrição do trabalho desenvolvido, acompanhada da reflexão profunda e fundamentada que a promoção e proteção exigem.
The Commissions for the Protection of Children and Young People (CPCJ) are non-judicial institutions that aim to promote the rights of children and young people and prevent or put an end to situations of danger, those likely to affect their safety, health, education and integral development. This document reflects the work carried out during an internship for the Master's programme in Psychosocial Intervention with Children and Young People at Risk in a CPCJ in the north of Portugal. It consists of three parts: a theoretical framework that underpins all the intervention carried out, a multidimensional characterisation of the internship context and an extensive description of the practice carried out. Following the survey of intervention needs, three Measures were defined: Psychosocial intervention in a CPCJ, Promotion of Knowledge about Children's Rights and Sensitisation of Social Network entities for the Promotion and Protection of Children and Young People in Danger situations. With regard to the first Measure, it has consisted in the co-management of 9 promotion processes and in other CPCJ activities, such as the presentation of a Scientific Poster at the Journeys for the Prevention of Violence in Childhood and Youth; in the second Measure, 10 sessions were held, covering a total of 203 participants aged between 8 and 12; in the third Measure, 6 sessions were implemented, with a total of 246 participants. By analysing the indicators defined for the evaluation, evidence was found that allows us to conclude that, in general, the work carried out contributed to the pursuit of the defined objectives. At all times, an attempt is made to provide a description of the work carried out, accompanied by the in-depth and well-founded reflection that promotion and protection require.
