Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de estágio foi elaborado no âmbito da conclusão do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, na Escola Superior de Educação de Viseu.
Este apresenta, de forma integrada, todo o trabalho realizado durante as Práticas Supervisionadas nos níveis de ensino acima mencionados.
O relatório de estágio tem como título O Envolvimento das Crianças no Cantinho da Leitura, no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada. A investigação está ligada à área curricular do Português e desenvolve-se de forma a perceber quais as representações de Educadores de Infância, Assistentes Operacionais e Encarregados de Educação de crianças em idade pré-escolar relativamente ao Cantinho da Leitura. Assim, foi realizada uma investigação quantitativa, na qual o investigador aplicou questionários aos indivíduos mencionados anteriormente. No entanto, o investigador não teve qualquer interação direta com os inquiridos, aquando da aplicação dos instrumentos de investigação. Cumulativamente, os questionários apresentam questões que implicam uma análise qualitativa das respostas, sendo necessário o uso da análise de conteúdo.
No final do presente trabalho, foi realizada uma análise a todos os questionários, de forma a dar resposta à pergunta do mesmo.
Analisando os questionários, pudemos verificar que, no geral, os Educadores de Infância, os Assistentes Operacionais e os Encarregados de Educação dão bastante importância à leitura, proporcionando às crianças momentos relacionados com este domínio, tanto no jardim de infância como em casa, contribuindo para promover o gosto pela leitura.
Abstract This internship report has been written in the context of the conclusion of a Master's Degree in Preschool and Primary Education Early Childhood and Primary Education, at the School of Education, Polytechnic Institute of Viseu. This report presents, in an integrated form, all the work completed during the Supervised Teaching Practice in the educational levels mentioned above. This internship report is entitled “Children’s involvement in the Reading Corner”, in the field of Supervised teaching practice. The investigation is related to the curriculum subject of Portuguese and it is developed in the attempt to discuss the representation of Preschool educators, operations assistants and parents/guardians of preschoolers in regard to the Reading Corner. Thus, a quantitative study was developed, in which the investigator delivered questionnaires to the people mentioned above. However, the investigator did not have any direct interaction with them during this process. Furthermore, the questions implied a qualitative analysis of the answers, requiring the use of content analysis. At the end of this study, an analysis of all the questionnaires was carried out, in order to address its question. By analyzing all the questionnaires, we concluded that, in general Preschool Educators, Operations Assistants and Parents/Guardians give enough importance to reading, providing children with moments related to this field, both in preschool and at home, thus contributing to the promotion of reading habits.
