| dc.description.abstract | Considering the localisation of South Africa in the African continent and its dynamics, namely the socioeconomic ones (considered as an emerging country), it is determinant to analyse its agricultural particularities and policies. The policy measures and instruments implemented in this country may be considered as a reference for the realities of other African countries. The identification of adjusted approaches to improve food security in African countries is crucial for more sustainability worldwide. In this perspective, it is intended to identify policy instruments adjusted to the South African context that can be disseminated to other African countries. For that, a systematic review based on bibliographic coupling was carried out. As main insights, of referring that the literature reveals concerns of the South African agricultural policies with the economic changes and the respective impacts (on the agricultural prices, for example), irrigation conditions, rural development, impacts of social changes, food security, emerging farmers. | pt_PT |
