Abstract(s)
Este trabalho de investigação tem como principal objetivo analisar o modo como os docentes do ensino básico e secundário, de vários grupos disciplinares, perspetivam a educação pela arte nas disciplinas que lecionam e o seu contributo para a valorização de diferentes formas de linguagem.
O nosso enquadramento teórico apresenta os pressupostos da educação pela arte, na perspetiva de diferentes pensadores, bem como uma visão histórica relativamente à temática em questão, centrada fundamentalmente no caso português.
A investigação teve por base uma metodologia científica que permitiu a recolha e a análise dos dados de forma a garantir que os resultados e as conclusões possam contribuir para uma maior sensibilização dos docentes para o tema em questão e, por conseguinte, para a melhoria do processo de ensino.
Os resultados deste estudo permitiram concluir que os docentes reconhecem a importância da educação pela arte, embora nem sempre a prática letiva seja reflexo disso.
ABSTRACT This research aims to examine how teachers in elementary and secondary education in several different subjects, approach education through art in the subjects they teach and their contribution to the appreciation of different forms of language. Our theoretical framework presents the principles of education through art, from the perspective of different thinkers, as well as a historical view regarding the topic in question, centered mainly in the Portuguese situation. The research was based on a scientific methodology that allowed the gathering and analysis of data to ensure that the results and findings may contribute to a greater awareness of teachers for the issue in question and, therefore, to improve the process teaching. The results of this study showed that teachers recognize the importance of art in education, although it is not always actually reflected in everyday teaching activ.
