Abstract(s)
No âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do
Ensino Básico, apresenta-se o seguinte Relatório Final de Estágio. Desta forma,
e 3.º semestres. No desenrolar do estágio efetuado no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico,
professores do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
The following document refers to the Internship Final Report and is presented within the Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching in Primary Education. It is intended to demonstrate the accomplished course/path through the stages of the internship in the Basic Education as well as in Preschool Education, during the second and third Semesters. Throughout the Internship carried out in the Basic Education it was possible to realize that children express a great empathy towards Musical Expression and that, in addition to developing skills related to this area, it allows the child a wider contact between the group itself, which encourages the mutual aid and the integration of the child. Thus, we elaborated a study case regarding the instrumental practice and its contribution for the socialization/integration of the child in the Extra Curricular Activities, in Basic Education. The study was based on data gathered through nonparticipating direct observation and semi structured interviews. The participants of the study were a 4th Grade class, the Extra Curricular Activities Music teacher and four teachers from Basic Education. Throughout the enquiry/study it has been concluded that Music is an influential factor on the integration/socialization of the child. When children have contact with Music, it becomes clear that this brings multiple benefits and capabilities develops, both socially and learning, of utmost importance.
