Abstract(s)
O estudo desta investigação promove a utilização do Quadro Interactivo, em contexto de Jardim de Infância, no domínio da Expressão Plástica. Pretende determinar qual o impacto do Quadro Interactivo no desempenho, motivação, interesse e envolvimento das crianças na utilização desta tecnologia, em alternativa ao computador. O recurso ao Quadro Interactivo pode proporcionar uma maior interactividade, despertar a concentração e promover um maior envolvimento das crianças.
Esta investigação consiste num estudo de caso, que pretende descrever como o Quadro Interactivo pode enriquecer as experiências de aprendizagem das crianças, do Jardim de Infância, através do desenho, utilizando o software Tux Paint.
Relativamente aos instrumentos de recolha de dados foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas a doze crianças, e a utilização da Escala de Envolvimento da Criança, inserida no Projecto Desenvolvendo a Qualidade em Parcerias.
Os resultados desta pesquisa revelaram ligeiras discrepâncias no envolvimento da criança com o computador e com o Quadro Interactivo. Se aliarmos ao Quadro Interactivo uma aplicação de Expressão Plástica, é possível potenciar uma maior motivação e envolvimento, proporcionando à criança o desenvolvimento de novas experiências de aprendizagem. Os dados recolhidos, durante este estudo, sugerem que o Quadro Interactivo facilita a interactividade entre as crianças contribuindo positivamente no seu desempenho. A pesquisa também sugere, que quando subsiste intenção no docente, em preparar ambientes de qualidade, mediados por esta tecnologia, a criança permanecerá envolvida de forma activa e concentrada na execução das suas actividades.
Finalmente são sugeridas algumas recomendações para o desenvolvimento de novos estudos, em contexto de Jardim de Infância, envolvendo a tecnologia do Quadro Interactivo.
The study of this research promotes the use of the White Board in the Pre-school Education, in the area of Artistic Expression. It intends to determine which is the impact of the White Board in the performance, motivation, interest and involvement of the children in the use of this technology, as an alternative to the computer. The use of the White Board may provide a bigger interaction, increase the concentration and promote a greater involvement of the children. This research consists of a case study, which intends to describe how the White Board can enrich the experiences of the Pre-school Education‘s learning processes, through the drawing, using the software Tux Paint. In which concerns to the data gathering tools, interviews were made to 12 children and it was used the Scale of the Involvement of the Child, included in the Project Developing the Quality in Partnerships. The results of this survey revealed small differences in the involvement of the child with the computer and with the White Board. If we join the White Board an application of Artistic Expression, it‘s possible to create a greater motivation and involvement, providing the child the development de new learning experiences. The collected date, during this study, suggest that the White Board turns easier the interaction among children contributing positively to their performance. The survey also suggests, that when the intention of the teacher to prepare quality atmospheres continues, using this technology, the child will be involved in an active and concentrated way in their activities performance. Finally, some suggestions are made to the development of new studies, in the context of Pre-school Education, involving the technology of the White Board.
