Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho visa discutir a importância de uma empresa rural
na valorização e desenvolvimento de um território interior, abordando os
benefícios dessas práticas e os desafios para sua implementação. Para tal, será
realizado o estudo de caso da iniciativa Fels Natural, uma microempresa
alimentar, localizada no nordeste de Portugal. A empresa tem o objetivo de
promover e valorizar a produção de produtos agro-alimentares locais de entre os
quais a castanha, os frutos secos e o mel, contribuindo assim para o
desenvolvimento sustentável do território. Os produtos são produzidos de forma
artesanal, destacando-se entre outros as granolas, as bolachas, os biscoitos e
os torrões. Para a afirmação e sucesso desta iniciativa, uma conduta baseada
na sustentabilidade e inovação (produto, marketing, processo e organizacional)
tem sido fundamental.

For the affirmation and success of this initiative, innovation not only at product and process level, but also in organizational and marketing terms, has been fundamental.
