Abstract(s)
Vivemos no tempo do 5g… no tempo da comunicação ao segundo, da conexão à distância, das linguagens inovadoras e das mensagens inspiradoras. Há tanta coisa a acontecer, tantos temas para comentar, tanto conhecimento para assimilar, tantas notícias para partilhar. Ora, é neste aqui e agora que a Igreja Católica tem uma «Boa-Nova» para transmitir, apesar de haver quem diga que a novidade já não é atual e quem defenda que não é assim tão boa. Afinal, será uma «Boa-Nova» ou uma «Má-Atrasada»?
Tendo como ponto de partida o papel da linguagem informal na comunicação da Igreja, o presente estudo criará uma ponte entre a atualidade e as primeiras décadas do cristianismo, irá colocar-nos diante do estilo comunicativo de Jesus, procurará a essência da sua linguagem e apresentará propostas que ajudem a transparecer o poder transformador da sua mensagem.
Estando diretamente em jogo as potencialidades e as fragilidades da linguagem informal, para que seja possível entender esta matéria no âmbito eclesial, colocaremos em campo o Papa Francisco e outros convocados que são referência nesta temática, incluindo um beato que calça ténis da Nike. No fim da partida, fica claro que a Igreja nem sempre consegue acompanhar a alta velocidade da atualidade porque vai mantendo alguns registos comunicativos que já não despertam a atenção, não são entendidos e não geram comunhão.
Neste sentido, assumindo a informalidade comunicativa como base teórica de toda a investigação e seguindo uma metodologia qualitativa no tratamento e análise dos resultados das entrevistas realizadas, conclui-se que: a utilização de uma linguagem descomplicada, simples e familiar, pode ser muito útil no processo de evangelização porque tem o poder de facilitar a conexão empática entre os interlocutores, permitir uma melhor compreensão do conteúdo partilhado e proporcionar oportunidades de encontro, diálogo e compromisso.
We are living the time of the 5g… A time of instant communication, of connection despite the distance, of innovating languages and inspiring messages. There is so much happening, so many themes to comment, so much knowledge to absorb, so much news to share. It is in this here and now that the Catholic Church has «Good News» to convey, despite those who say that the «news» are not up-to-date, as well as not «good». Is it, after all, «Good News» or «Bad News»? While taking the role of the informal language in the Church’s communication as starting point, the present study creates a bridge between the present days and the first decades of Christianity. It will place us before Jesus’ patterns of communication, looking for the essence of His language, and it will propose ways capable of helping with the manifestation of the transformative power of His message. Since both the potential and the fragilities of the informal language are at play, and in order to understand this issue in an ecclesiastical framework, we will place Pope Francis in the field, along with other players who are a reference in this subject – including a blessed who wears Nike sneakers. At the end of the game, it becomes clear the Church is not always able to keep up with the current times, since it maintains some ways of communications which no longer attract attention, create communion, nor are even understood. Being communicative informality the theoretical framework of all research and using a qualitative methodology in the processing and analysis of the results from the interviews carried out, it can be inferred that the use of simple, uncomplicated and familiar language can be very useful in the process of evangelization because it has the potential to encourage an empathetic connection between the participants, for allowing a better understanding of the content that is shared and providing opportunities for encounter, dialogue and commitment.
