Este relatório foi elaborado no âmbito da unidade curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionado, do curso de Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Encontra-se dividido em duas partes principais. A primeira parte apresenta o trabalho desenvolvido em contexto de estágio durante as Práticas de Ensino Supervisionado, nomeadamente a caraterização dos contextos e uma apreciação crítica das competências desenvolvidas durante o mesmo. A segunda parte visa a apresentação de um trabalho de investigação. O tema em estudo, cidadania e questões de género, foi inicialmente escolhido por ser uma das preocupações da sociedade atual. Somos confrontados diariamente com as desigualdades entre homens e mulheres nos mais variados contextos. Sendo as crianças o futuro da sociedade é importante perceber quais são as suas perspetivas sobre esta temática com implicações relevantes para a vida em comunidade. Em termos empíricos, este trabalho consistiu numa investigação sobre as práticas no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, utilizando diferentes técnicas, como a pesquisa documental, a observação participante, o inquérito por questionário e a entrevista através do focus grupo. Com os dados obtidos, e após a sua análise, pudemos concluir que os alunos da turma do 4.º ano que participaram no estudo alteraram as suas perspetivas relativamente à temática da igualdade de género. Compreenderam que é necessário haver respeito por ambos os sexos e que deve predominar a igualdade entre homens e mulheres no meio social e profissional, de modo a que a vida na sociedade seja justa e harmoniosa para todos.
This report was prepared within the scope of the Supervised Teaching Practice curricular unit, of the master course in Early Childhood and Primary Education. It is divided into two main parts. The first part presents the work developed in the context of the internship during the Supervised Teaching Practices, namely the characterization of the contexts and a critical appreciation of the skills developed during it. The second part aims to present a research work. The subject under study, Citizenship and gender issues, was initially chosen because it is one of the concerns of today's society. We are faced daily with inequalities between men and women in the most varied contexts. As children are the future of society, it is important to understand what their perspectives are on this theme with relevant implications for community life are. In empirical terms, this work consisted of an investigation of practices in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, using different techniques, such as documentary research, participant observation, questionnaire inquiry and interview through the focus group. With the data obtained, and after its analysis, we were able to conclude that the students of the 4th grade class who participated in the study changed their perspectives regarding the topic of gender equality. They understood that respect for both sexes is necessary and that equality between men and women must prevail in the social and professional environment, so that life in society is fair and harmonious for all.
