Abstract(s)
Devido à crescente pressão que se faz sentir na indústria automóvel, a diferenciação face
à concorrência é fundamental para a competitividade das empresas do sector. É, por isso,
indispensável procurar ferramentas que promovam a eficiência operacional e garantam a
qualidade do produto final. O presente projeto, desenvolvido na empresa Forvia SASAL,
fabricante de capas para a indústria automóvel, consistiu na implementação da ferramenta
Poka Yoke nas linhas de produção. Esta ferramenta, incluída na metodologia LEAN,
permite a identificação e correção de falhas de forma proativa, evitando a ocorrência de
erros e defeitos durante o processo produtivo. O principal objetivo é garantir que o cliente
receba um produto de alta qualidade que satisfaça, ou exceda, as suas expectativas. O
trabalho desenvolveu-se em três fases distintas. Numa primeira fase, foram identificados
os problemas e os postos de trabalho nas linhas de costura das capas para a aplicação da
ferramenta Poka Yoke. Na segunda fase, foram desenvolvidas as soluções e a forma de
implementar o sistema Poka Yoke nos dois postos de trabalho. Por fim, na terceira fase,
foram cuidadosamente analisados os resultados obtidos, tanto em termos produtivos,
como em termos de qualidade do produto entregue ao cliente. No final do estudo efetuado,
são apresentadas as evidências do impacto positivo do sistema Poka Yoke na empresa
Forvia SASAL, bem como as conclusões do trabalho desenvolvido. Este projeto permitiu
fornecer uma visão geral da vantagem competitiva que aquela abordagem pode trazer
para outras empresas do setor automóvel, estimulando assim a procura contínua pela
excelência operacional e satisfação do cliente.
Due to the increasing pressure in the automotive industry, differentiation from the competition is essential for companies' competitiveness in the sector. Therefore, it is crucial to seek tools that promote operational efficiency and ensure the quality of the final product. The present project, developed at Forvia SASAL, a manufacturer of seat covers for the automotive industry, consisted of implementing the Poka Yoke tool on the production lines. This tool, part of the LEAN methodology, enables the proactive identification and correction of failures, preventing errors and defects from occurring during the production process. The main objective is to ensure that the customer receives a high-quality product that meets or exceeds their expectations. The work was carried out in three distinct phases. In the first phase, the problems and workstations on the seat cover sewing lines were identified for the application of the Poka Yoke tool. In the second phase, solutions were developed and the system was implemented on two workstations. Finally, in the third phase, the results obtained were carefully analyzed, both in terms of productivity and the quality of the product delivered to the customer. At the conclusion of the study, evidence of the positive impact of the Poka Yoke system at Forvia SASAL is presented, along with the conclusions of the developed work. This project provided an overview of the competitive advantage that this approach can bring to other companies in the automotive sector, thereby encouraging the continuous pursuit of operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
