Abstract(s)
Industrial Solutions S.A.
ABSTRACT: The present Work of Internship is an integral part of the curricular structure of the Master degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Management, and is assumed as a project directed to the development and operational improvement of the productive process in the company Purever Industrial Solutions S.A. By emphasizing competitiveness levels in a global context, it is now recognized the need for companies to present themselves extremely available, in order to be able to respond quickly to market demands, in order to meet the specificities and requirements of multiple customers. In this context, it was considered as fundamental and of greater importance, to define as objective the application of the SMED Methodology, a tool of Lean Manufacturing, in order to try to reduce the setup times of the production lines of the business processes, making operating processes faster and more flexible, with a significant impact on the level of intermediate stocks. It is also worth mentioning that, in an underlying form, the 5'S Methodology and Visual Management were applied, which, as a valuable aid in the organization and systematization of the processes, constituted a facilitating and indispensable factor for the application of SMED. Finally, to highlight the projection and efficiency study of two main equipment of the company's production process - Angle Machines, using the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) indicator, an integral part of the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Methodology, in order to allow calculate the parameters of quality, cadence and performance, configuring the obtaining of values, indispensable to a desirable analysis and comparison with industrial operating processes, possible to take as reference.
