This Final Internship Report, developed within the Master’s Degree in Teaching at the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Preschool Education, synthesizes a formative pathway that integrates pedagogical practice, critical reflection, and educational research. The first part of the report presents and analyses the experiences developed in teaching contexts within Primary Education and Preschool Education, highlighting the learning processes, challenges faced, and professional competences developed, supported by evidence collected throughout the internship. The second part presents a qualitative research study focused on the promotion of creativity, developed with a 3rd-grade class of Primary Education (1st Cycle of Basic Education) during the 2024/2025 academic year. The general objective of the study was to investigate how the convergence between storytelling games and the artist’s book (book-object) can expand narrative possibilities, enhance students’ engagement, and foster meaningful creative writing experiences. Within this framework, the study aimed to analyse how the principles of creative writing can be applied to interactive and experimental narratives, identify the key characteristics of narrative games that contribute to the construction of dynamic stories, and explore the materiality of the bookobject and its influence on the narrative experience. A qualitative and interpretative approach was adopted, analysing the children’s productions at three distinct moments. The results show that these practices enhance the development of the four dimensions of creativity—fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration—while fostering children’s engagement, personal expression, and the creation of more structured and imaginative narratives. The findings also demonstrate that integrating multimodal creative practices contributes to more meaningful, inclusive, and motivating learning experiences. Overall, the report concludes that the articulation between pedagogical practice and research not only deepens the understanding of creative processes in educational settings but also supports professional growth and the development of a critical and reflective teaching identity
