Abstract(s)
A Responsabilidade Social tem sido alvo de um intenso e controverso debate que levou à construção do seu conceito, de teorias e abordagens e está, também, relacionado com a evolução do próprio conceito de empresa e da aplicação da ética no contexto organizacional. Neste artigo, investigam-se os fundamentos teóricos e orientações éticas da Responsabilidade Social, esta que aqui é sempre analisada a partir dos fundamentos éticos e que busca na filosofia moral e na teoria dos valores humanos esclarecimentos que permitam definir o conceito e assumindo que deverá ser feita uma análise ao pensamento moral do gestor enquanto responsável organizacional com poder de decisão relevante na empresa, já que é o gestor, enquanto agente central do processo que envolve a adoção, por parte da empresa/instituição, de práticas /políticas alinhadas com as expectativas e necessidades da sociedade.
Social Responsibility has been a subject of an intense and controversial debate that led to the construction of its concept, theories and approaches which is also related to the evolution of the concept of company itself and the application of ethics in the organizational context. In this article, we investigate the theoretical foundations and ethical orientations of Social Responsibility, which is always analysed here from the ethical foundations and that seeks in moral philosophy and in the theory of human values clarifications which allow to define the concept and assuming that it should be made an analysis to the moral thinking of the manager as an organizational manager with relevant decision power in the company, since he is the manager, he is the central agent of the process which involves the adoption by the company/institution of practices / policies aligned with expectations and needs of society.
