Abstract(s)
Com a presente investigação pretendemos, por um lado, saber se os alunos são sensibilizados para a arte na disciplina de Educação Visual e Tecnológica (EVT); por outro lado, averiguar sobre as atividades desenvolvidas na disciplina para promover esta sensibilização. Neste sentido, no enquadramento teórico refletimos sobre a importância da arte para o desenvolvimento integral da criança, no âmbito dos pressupostos da Educação pela Arte, desenvolvendo também as suas bases psicopedagógicas. Analisámos, ainda, a disciplina de EVT no âmbito do currículo nacional do ensino básico e o seu contributo para a sensibilização artística.
Trata-se de uma investigação qualitativa, um estudo de casos comparativo entre três escolas do ensino básico do concelho de Viseu. Para tal, realizámos entrevistas em grupo a alunos e professores das referidas escolas. A técnica utilizada no tratamento dos dados recolhidos foi a análise de conteúdo.
Os resultados mostram que os alunos, no geral, são sensibilizados para a arte.
Relativamente às atividades desenvolvidas pelos professores, no âmbito da sensibilização para a arte, estes referiram desenvolver as seguintes unidades de trabalho: a cor, o desenho do rosto e do corpo humano, o património, o módulo/padrão, a geometria, técnicas e materiais. Sendo de realçar que, de uma maneira geral, os docentes entrevistados referiram que, no âmbito da abordagem dos conteúdos referidos, os alunos estudam artistas plásticos e obras de arte
Abstract In this research we intend, firstly, if the students are aware of the art in the subject of Visual and Technological Education (VTE), and secondly, to determine which activities are used in this subject to promote knowledge in this substance. In this sense, the theoretical framework we reflect on the importance of art for the development of the child, under the assumptions of Education through Art, also developing their psycho bases. We investigated also the subject of VTE within the national curriculum of basic education and its contribution to the artistic perception. This is a qualitative research, a case of study, comparing three primary schools in the municipality of Viseu. For these propose, we conducted group interviews with students and teachers of these schools. The technique used in the treatment of the data collected was content analysis. The results show that students in general are sensitive to art. Concerning the activities developed by teachers, within the awareness of the art, mentioned to develop the following units of work: the colour, the design of face and body, the heritage, the module / pattern, geometry, materials and techniques. Is significant that, in general, the teachers interviewed described that ,under the approach of the content above, students study artists and artworks.
