Abstract(s)
O setor farmacĂȘutico Ă© extremamente rigoroso e exige elevado nĂvel de
qualidade no processo de fabrico de medicamentos, aliado Ă s caracterĂsticas do
atual mercado.
possĂvel calcular o indicador OEE, e desta forma identificar onde estĂŁo as maiores
perdas e ineficiĂȘncias dos equipamentos e processos do sector.
O parĂąmetro do indicador OEE que possui maior impacto no resultado do
OEE Ă© o do desempenho, e o principal motivo para este valor sĂŁo as ocorrĂȘncias
instabilidade no indicador global OEE.
ABSTRACT The pharmaceutical sector is extremely rigorous and requires a high level of quality in the drug manufacturing process, combining the characteristics of the current market that require new production methodologies, with reduction of waste to remain a leader or maintain its position in the industrial market. This document is the report of the project work within the scope of the Master in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Management of the Superior School of Technology and Management of Viseu, and which had as its objective the development and application of TPM and continuous improvement tools in the packaging sector and operational labeling at the pharmaceutical company Hikma S.A. The project work, based on a case study, carried out the evaluation, analysis, and mapping of the production process flow and subsequently the definition of the methodology for collecting and analyzing the data needed to calculate the OEE indicator. Data on machinery and equipment in the packaging sector were collected during the second half of 2020, starting in July. Through this data and the OEE indicator, it was possible to identify where the biggest losses and inefficiencies of the sector's equipment and processes are. The indicator that has the greatest impact on the OEE result is Performance or productivity, the main reason for this value is the occurrence of micro-stops during the batch packaging process, causing instability in the global OEE indicator. The OEE indicator needs permanent monitoring with workers directly linked to the processes in order to guarantee or accelerate the implementation of the indicator. In order to implement a new methodology, such as TPM, in an organization it is essential to change the âmindsetâ and communication between operators and managers is essential in consolidating improvement processes.
