The final internship report is presented in two parts: the first, corresponding to the Supervised Teaching Practice, and the second, to the research work. The second part explores the relevance of self-awareness and visual narratives in the educational context, with a primary focus on the Visual Education discipline. This research then proceeds through an initial theoretical framework phase where, through the analysis of various sources, it was analyzed how self-awareness can enrich the teaching-learning process, promoting a more comprehensive and humanistic education. Furthermore, the evolution and importance of visual narratives was investigated, from the earliest graphic representations to modern comics and animations, highlighting their potential as a pedagogical tool. Finally, the research project was implemented in the internship context with a 5th-grade class. The methodology adopted included a qualitative approach, with data collection through questionnaires and observations, aiming to understand the effectiveness of these strategies in the school environment.
